Welcome to Summit Writing Center! I offer tailored tutoring and coaching for all high school English classes, including AP English Literature and AP English Language, honors, and creative writing. As a patient and committed English teacher, I will collaborate with you to develop personalized learning plans that address your specific needs and goals.
Academic Services
AP Language & Composition
Sharpen rhetorical analysis, synthesis, and argumentation skills through targeted practice and feedback . I can help your student decode prompts, structure essays, and build the skills and confidence to excel on the AP Lang exam.
AP Literature & Composition
Enrich literary analysis and strengthen essay writing through guided discussions, practice prompts, and personalized feedback.
Common App College Essay Support
From beginning to end of the college essay writing process, I teach students to tell their authentic stories. I offer a variety of college application packages depending on students' needs.
High School & Honors English
I offer support for students in grades 9-12 who want to improve their writing skills and reading comprehension. Lessons are engaging, student-centered, and customized according to individual needs.
ACT English & Reading Preparation
Through targeted review strategies, pacing techniques, and skill practice students, students build confidence for the ACT Exam.
Independent Writing Projects
For motivated writers pursuing creative or academic goals. I mentor students through self-published poetry collections, short stories, essays, or national competition submissions (e.g., New York Times, Scholastic Writing Awards)
